Despite being behind, Al Ittihad fought back valiantly and pulled a goal back through Hicham Bakkali in the 79th minute, but it was too little, too late as Benzema completed his hat-trick with a stunning solo effort.
Benzema has been in sensational form this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 12 assists in all competitions so far. His assist against Al Ittihad was just another example of why he is considered one of the best players in the world.
